2020-21 Everyone Can Play Grant Now Open!
2020-21 Everyone Can Play Grant
Councils seeking funding to upgrade and deliver new and inclusive playspaces can now apply for the 2020-21 Everyone Can Play grant until 12pm (midday) Tuesday 3 November 2020.
This third round has been boosted to a total of $7 million funding. In line with previous rounds, up to $4 million dollars of funding will be available to all NSW LGAs to upgrade and deliver new and inclusive playspaces. A further $3 million dollars of program funding will be accelerated in 2020-2021 to prioritise eligible applications from bushfire and drought affected LGAs that can demonstrate benefits to affected communities.
In the 2020-21 funding round our matched funding category maximum thresholds have increased from $50,000 to $75,000 for upgrades, and from $200,000 to $300,000 for new playspaces.
In addition to the standard categories for new and upgraded playspaces, a small number of eligible and exemplar proposals from the bushfire and drought projects may be selected by the assessment panel to access funds of up to $700,000 and to scale up into destination style Demonstration Projects. Special conditions also apply to bushfire and drought affected LGAs across all funding categories to try to make the funding more accessible to councils.
